Early life and Education
Chike hails from Onitsha in Nigeria’s Anambra State. His family includes four siblings. His musically gifted family influenced his decision for a career as a musician. He graduated from Covenant University with a degree as Computer Engineering.

Chike was featured on Project Fame West Africa as a contestant. After reaching the Top 10, he was eliminated.
The Voice Nigeria
Chike auditioned with The Voice Nigeria singing James Arthur’s “Roses” cover. He was praised by all four coaches and decided to join Team Patoranking.
He performed Mario’s “Let Me Love You”, along with another Team Patoranking participant, and was selected to advance to the next round. He performed “Not the Girl” with Dare Art Alade, his co-coach and received a save from the coach.
He performed “Earned it” by The Weeknd and was saved from the wrath of the public. His coach saved the season with his final save. He also sang “I’m Gonna be (500 Miles),” by The Proclaimers.
He performed “Pullover”, a cover of Kcee and Wizkid, in the semi-finals. Chike performed covers by Kiss Daniel and Bob Marley’s “No Woman No Cry” in the finale. A’rese, from Team Waje came in first. He was the runner up for the season.
After The Voice Nigeria
2016
Chike, along with four other contestants from The Voice Nigeria was signed to Universal Republic. His debut single, Fancy U, was released by Universal Republic in December 2016.
The music video for the song was released in early 2017. Along with seven other finalists in The Voice Nigeria, Chike was made an ambassador for Airtel Nigeria.
2017-2019
It was revealed that Chike was cast by Africa Magic in April 2017 to play Mayowa Badmus’ role in Battleground, a television drama.
Chike left Universal Republic in November 2017 and became an independent artist. In February 2018, he released “Beautiful People”, his next single.
2020
Chike has released his 14-track album Boo of the Booless. With a special performance on 2020 Big Brother Lockdown TV show.
